Str is maxed than Wits, the 3rd stat is Memory but your character is so dull that you don't need many spells.Įxcept for Warfare, you can get mobility spells and Adrenaline from Scoundrel, Polymorph for Tentacle Lash and Invisibility. You max out Two-Hand Specialization and than Warfare, Scoundrel is the last stat you need because of the crit damage. i don't see myself ever becoming 'OP' One of the strongest Builds in the game, also the word ''Knight'' is a starting template, there is no such thing as a Knight - it's a two-handed warrior (Human for the 5% crit and 10% crit damage is the perfect choice). Well worth consideration as an early Talent, in my (admittedly still quite limited) experience. +4 Strength for six turns from a simple-to-make Dinner (plus a significant health boost if you happen to need one at the time) is not to be sniffed at when you add in the extra damage multiplier that Warfare provides on top of this +20% from the extra strength. In addition to such as Fortify and Mend Metal, you get to throw oil around with such as Fossil Strike and Earthquake, and then (assuming your resident party pyromaniac doesn't immediately, gleefully ignite it all.) you get to suck it up with Oily Carapace as another handy means of replenishing physical armor.Īs for useful Talents, in addition to those mentioned above for consideration, I like Five-Star Diner, which doubles the value of foods and potions consumed. I like to go with a point or two in Geo, for instance, and just enough extra memory slots to make good use of the extra skills this combination offers. Stacking strength and warfare is a given, of course, but a bit more versatility in available skills is not only useful, it's also much more fun to play (surely the most important factor here?), albeit at the cost of perhaps inflicting slightly less damage in the early-mid game stages at least. I don't have anywhere near the experience of these guys (so feel free to take my comments with a large pinch of salt) but I'm enjoying my current Knight build so I'll wade in with a few thoughts of my own.
