After doing so, exit the Bonfire screen and immediately save and quit your game. Click the OK button that we held off choosing earlier. This will prompt you to change their values, enter the ID from the list.įinally, go back to your game. In Cheat Engine, highlight the bottom two entries we just created and press enter. For example, we will choose 2959F0, the Demon’s Great Hammer. Use the above table to find the ID of the item you wish to spawn into your game. Back in your game, choose to move more of the Lifegems, but do not click the OK button. Once again, copy and paste this new value, this time adjusting the address by the number 4. Right click your newly pasted value, and choose the option “Show as hexadecimal” to change the value again. You will be prompted with a small screen, adjust the address by -C and submit. Right click to copy it, and paste it back into the same area. Spawning New Itemsįrom the previous steps, double click the address of your Lifegems to make the values appear in the Advanced Options box.
You’ll know you have the correct address selected if you see the value change to your selected number within the game. To find out which one is correct, right click the address and choose Change Value. You should be left with only a few results now. This eliminates some of the options, ultimately narrowing it down for us.ĭo this once more, changing the value to 2. From here, remove more Lifegems so you only have 4. This will display everything within the game that currently has this value. Within Cheat Engine, type in the value 7 and click First Scan. The easiest way to do this is to use commonly found Lifegems stored inside of your Bonfire’s item box. Now that we’re ready to start, we must begin by finding the ID of a specific item. Make sure the Hex checkbox is not checked, and the value type is set to 4 bytes.
With both programs open, select the Dark Souls 2 process from Cheat Engine. Install the program, and boot up your game. Before we begin, we need to download the latest version of Cheat Engine.
